I have eight years of experience writing, editing, and producing for online and print content. I have recently begun working in research, and LOVE it! I have worked for online, print, technical, academic, and general audience publications; I have been the copy-editor forSPIE Professional since its launch in 2006 and created fact sheets for several animals at Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle, WA.
My work has included email newsletters, website landing pages, product pages, technical articles, magazines, newsletters, newspapers, PowerPoint presentations, press releases, product announcements, fundraising brochures and technical textbooks. I work fast, with strong attention to detail, am self-directed, excellent at time management, and work well independently or with a team. I have a proven track record of success in a fast-paced environment, completing projects on time, and identifying and resolving problems.
I’m also really good at finding incredibly random connections between things like teddy bears and space travel (such a thing exists, by the way).
